FollowIt was minus 12 when we got up this morning, but we went up to Mannlichen anyway and had coffee. After skiing for a bit it became obvious that we needed to lose some altitude to avoid the worst of the cold. We skied down to a hamlet called Aspen above Grindelwald. The route goes through the forest and across bridges and roads.
We had some nice warmimg soup at Aspen, then caught the bus to Grindelwald where we could get a lift back to the top.
Back at Männlichen it was even colder than this morning, and it started to snow. We managed one run before we headed for the warmth of the cable car station.
