We often get sunny days at this time of year – we call them Bluebird days. We also get overnight snow, which leads to a ‘powder day’. Rarely however do we get a perfect sunny day straight after an overnight snowfall, but that’s what we got today. We met Ally at 9 this morning and up we went to Männlichen. It seemed odd that we didn’t have to queue for the cable car on such a nice day. 

It was practically deserted.

Where is everyone? 

We skied until we barely had anything left in the tank. It did get busier towards lunchtime, but by then it was time to come down as Val is curling again this afternoon.
