In support of this, we’re having a variety show. The only venue remotely big enough is the cinema, so last night we all packed in.
We began, naturally, with Duo Centrale.

Apologies for the quality of the photos – it’s a cinema, not a theatre, so the lighting wasn’t the best.
Next up was Danny the village magician. Here he is reading Nick’s mind.

Steve D played a few nice numbers, accompanied by Anne on the violin.

And now we have Marc Rubben. Marc is a comedian and ventriloquist.

Nash, the hippy.

And the final act that absolutely brought the house down – Marc using Angela as a puppet. It looks a bit creepy but it was absolutely hilarious.

Around 140 people attended, and what with ticket sales, a huge raffle and the not inconsiderable profits from the bar, a lot of money will have been raised. An amazing night out.
Grand finale.
